SAMY Trip to Congregation B'Nai Israel

The SAMY Youth were invited by the youth at Congregation B'Nai Israel to visit their synagogue. The students at B'Nai Israel did a brief presentation about their facility and some basics about Judaism. After the introduction, both groups engaged in a lively and informative Q & A session. As our visit came to a close, one of the teachers of the 7th grade class at B'Nai Israel showed us the ornately decorated Torahs that are used for Jewish services.
