ANNOUNCEMENTS

Open registration for SALAM Elementary and Preschool (license
# 343614934) programs starts on Monday July 14, 2008.
The school administration is open to process applications
Monday thru Friday from 9:00am to 12:00pm or by appointment, by calling 916-979-1973.
Our first open house will be on Friday, August 1, 2008 from
10:00am to 12:00pm and from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Please come and listen to our new
educational programs, meet the teachers, visit our classrooms, and ask
questions.
The first day of school is August 11, 2008.
The first day of Weekend School is August 24, 2008.
Our new Arabic Immersion Program is still in session every
day until July 31, 2008.
SALAM Elementary and Preschool Programs offer Preschool,
Kindergarten, First, and Second grade classes. SALAM integrates Islamic
learning, Quranic Studies, and Arabic with quality education. More details about

Discover Islam II....
The long awaited SALAM favorite,
Discover Islam II, is currently offered every Thursday at 6:30 pm.
A continuation of
the popular Discover Islam I, Discover Islam II
focuses on the Islamic position towards contemporary realities and
challenges. This course attempts to objectively cover topics
relevant to the current American and Muslim public discourse, and
clarify Islam’s position on important issues such as democracy,
political violence, rights of women in Islam, Muslim- non-Muslim
relations, minorities, modernities, and much more.
